Thanks to guidance from the BOGAE London Tour pioneers: Ms, Snowman, Xin Lian, and Mon Jeh, I am able to visit BOGAE related sites dring my recent visit to (greater) London:

1. TRAFALGAR SQUARE

Yi Ming met her parents at the water fountains in front of National Gallery, next to the Nelson’s Column and its lion statues.

2. PICCADILY CIRCUS & EROS STATUE

From Trafalgar Square Yi Ming and her parents went to Piccadily Circus. Yi Ming took photos with her cameras. She and Hou Nam passess by under the Eros Statue. Their affair started here, in care of Eros.

3. CHINATOWN

Yi Ming’s Mom’s shop (金門行) was in the China Town. A Chinese gazebo was in front of the shop.

Now (2008) the shop is on Shaftesbury Ave., across Queen’s Theatre (Les Miserables).

4. CAMDEN LOCK MARKET

Yi Ming and her parents were shopping for clothes w/ background song “The End of Innocence” at Camden Lock Market.

Unfortunately I didn’t take pics from at the same exact location and angle, and the market itself changed a lot since 19 years ago. Anyway, I post some pics of Camden Lock Market in 2008:

5. REGENT’S CANAL

Yi Ming and Hou Nam walked and drank coffee on a Regent’s Canal bridge (painted green). It is on Prince Albert Road, opposite St. Mark Church. It is also entrance to Regent’s Park and London Zoo. Below the bridge is Regent’s Canal.

I suggest you to walk from Camden Lock Market along the canal (about 18 minutes) following signs to Regent’s Park or Zoo. You will find the bridge and church easily. You can also take bus no. 274 from Camden Town to London Zoo. Stop at Regent’s Park or Zoo (you will see the white sandstone St. Mark Church).

6. PARK CRESCENT ROAD --- (half circle shape) rows of townhouses with Romanian style columns.

Yi Ming and Hou Nam walked along Park Crescent Road and took pictures with policemen.

About 20 minutes walk from Regent’s Park bridge to the south toward Regent’s Park Underground station or Marlebone Roadand Portland Streetwill take you there.

If you take underground (Bakerloo line) to Park Crescentstation, take Regent’s Park exit. Park Crescent Road is right behind you (It may be covered by trees).

1. PARLEMENT
   BUILDING, VIEW FROM THAME’S SOUTHBANK

Sit on a bench in front of Council Hall building (exactly below London Eye), and watch the Parlement building at dusk hours. That’s what Yi Ming and Hou Nam did.

8. RICHMOND HILL TERRACE GARDEN VIEW (Sunset) & White Swan Pub

BOGAE ending with their famous hug on the Richmond Hill top, on the famous Thames river view. You will find the white stairs here too.

From London take underground or bus to Richmond (zone 4). Walk toward Richmond Hill top and Terrace Garden (ask for the famous Thames view). You will find the white stairs. After that, walk down the grass field toward river, take the river path back to Richmond town. White Swan pub is about 15 minutes walk.

I found the White Swan pub. It is still there after almost 20 years. Unfortunately, not their love house.

9. CHANGE OF GUARD AT BUCKINGHAM PALACE

Yi Ming & her parents watched the change of guards at Buckingham Palace. This is a very popular tourist destination.

I didn’t wait for the change of guards itself because there were too many tourists in front of the palace gate. But I did meet the guards marching toward the Buckingham Palace, and the horse guard.

They wore summer uniform (red), while the one in BOGAE were wearing winter uniform (grey).

11. HARROD'S

There was a shot, only one shot, of Harrod’s in BOGAE to indicate Mr. Shek visit to his family in London.

Today, the greatest modern bazaar in the world is still operating there, with more and more luxurious goods and more and more shoppers cum tourists, plus a memorial for Lady Diana and Doddy Al-Fayed, son of the Harrod’s owner.

Well, I didn’t take pics of Harrod’s. But I have something from the big store:
